Tarpum Bay, Eleuthera – Police in Eleuthera, Bahamas are investigating a traffic accident that has left a man dead on Sunday 24th April 2016.
Reports are that shortly after 12:00am, a man was driving a white Honda Accord vehicle on Queens Highway, Tarpum Bay, when he crashed into the rear of a parked truck. The victim was rushed to the Rock Sound Clinic where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Bahamas Press has identified that victim as Glenroy Cooper of Palmetto Point.
A team of officers from the Police Traffic Department will travel to Eleuthera later today to assist in the investigations. This is the third victim to die in a fatality this weekend alone. On Friday afternoon three men in a vehicle collided into a pole just outside the community of Spring City Abaco. Two lost their lives.
Meanwhile here in the capital in the vicinity of East Street South just near the Porkey’s Gas Station intersection BP captured this accident. No one was injured.
ANDROS STABBING DEATH SUSPECT IN CUSTODY
Central Andros, BAahamas – An adult male is in custody in connection with a stabbing incident that has left a man dead in North Andros on Sunday 24th April 2016.
BP has identified the victim as Jamal Levy.
Reports are that shortly after 2:00am, a man was involved in an altercation with another man in Morgan’s Bluff that led to him being stabbed with a knife. The victim was rushed to the local clinic where he later succumbed. The suspect was arrested by Police moments following the incident.
A team of Homicide Detectives from the Central Detective Unit travel to Andros today to assist in the investigations.
