Nassau, Bahamas — Lady Edith Turnquest fell ill while on vacation in London early on Saturday morning (May 8th), and she was rushed to hospital. She was with her husband, Sir Orville, and her eldest grandson, at the time.
It was discovered that she had suffered bleeding to the left side of her brain and doctors performed neurosurgery later that day.
The doctor performing the surgery indicated that the “surgery went rather better than expected”. She is currently in critical care for monitoring and further care.
At the hospital with her currently are Sir Orville, her three children, (who arrived in London on Sunday) and two of her grandsons.
The family is grateful for the many prayers and support offered during this time.
