Where are the 600 homes promised by the PM?

Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham on the floor of the House transferring land AGAIN!

The promise came during the 2007 general elections, however today, Prime Minister Ingraham have yet to deliver (BUILD) one single home for ONE Bahamian family in an entire year. Now the PLP delivered homes but many needed repairs some in the thousands of dollars. One home constructed in the last PLP administration was said to need over $50,000 in repairs.

The Ingraham government must answer the question however, with not a single home constructed for one year whilst in office, and scores of homes sitting empty in subdivisions around the country. And now the threat by the government to take, or put out on the streets some 800 plus delinquent families who cannot pay their mortgages, WHERE IS THE GOVERNMENT PEOPLE CAN TRUST? WHY SAY SOMETHING TO BAHAMIANS YOU COULD NOT DELIVER?

JUST ANOTHER WUTLESS DAMN LIE! ONE AFTER THE NEXT!

    We voted for it. Just like we voted for the mess called the PLP.

    They can’t pay their mortgages because they are living paycheck to paycheck instead of saving some money for hard times (as the Bible requires I might add).

    Living irresponsibly like you can’t get fired is fine… until reality sets in.

    And if they couldn’t save anything it is because they took out too big a mortgage in the first place. They should have been renting in that case or have bought a cheaper home. (This is called living beyond your means.)

    Look at the bright side: these people can now get an honest job instead of fleecing the taxpayer for their salary doing worthless government ‘work’.

    Ask yourself why these people didn’t learn about money management and home economics in schools in the past few decades…

PM please do something for G.B, if you look on real estate pages, real estate websites, you see your aunty house, your uncle house , your cousin house, your friend house , your co-worker house ,maybe mine ther too i just ain see it yet, it’s terrible we are your people, your people put you there we need your service badly.

  8. Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought the promise made in Manifesto 2007 with regards to housing was a 5 year promise not 1 year.
