Who told Cable Bahamas it would be granted a mobile license which allowed them to begin building towers before a license was actually granted?

Nassau, Bahamas – Cable Bahamas was granted the second mobile license and still to this day no one has come clean to tell the Bahamian people what was the role with Cable Bahamas, if any, prior to his appointment as URCA’s Chairman.

Current Acting Chief Executive Officer for URCA, Stephen Bereaux, could not answer the question as to what was the role of the Chairman as he confessed that his wife was indeed appointed to the Liberalization Task Force.

The Cellular Liberalisation Task Force’s focus will now shift to engaging CBL regarding the stated pre-conditions for setting up the mobile company NewCo.

For some reason someone knew something, between URCA and The Cellular Liberalisation Task Force, that gave CBL the motivation to begin building mobile towers long before a license was granted. Who knew what and when?

Bahamas Press, though, is now calling on the Chairman of URCA to come clean and tell the public what was his role in all this?

Was Randol Dorsett, while as a partner at Graham Thompson, hired to do work for Cable Bahamas before being appointed Chairman of URCA?

If yes, one must wonder why this has not yet been addressed by the Chairman of URCA now that Cable Bahamas has the second mobile license and is being fought for from deep within URCA!
