Grand Bahama – Police in Grand Bahama are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a male and female in the Freeport area.
Reports are that shortly after 11:00am, police were called to an area between Hearne Lane and Bruce Avenue and upon arrival officers discovered in a white wooden structure, two females and a male with apparent gunshot wounds about the body.
A female died at the scene and the other female and male were taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital via ambulance where the male later succumbed to his injuries and the female is listed in serious condition.
Bahamas Press can confirm the victims were witnesses to a murder on that island in early January. They were to appear as witnesses in the case, which was to begin this morning. They never made it. What ever happened to witness protection?
