25-year-old Delano Frantz Dorvol of #8 Arden Forrest is the island’s latest suicide victim…
Freeport, Bahamas — Casa Bahama appears to be the focal point for suicide missions these days as early this morning another young Grand Bahamian fell to his death around 9am.
Dead is 25-year-old, Delano Frantz Dorvol of #8 Arden Forrest, a reported former employee of the Grand Bahama Power Company who had recently lost his job, and at the same time had a relationship problem.
One source told BP there was a suicide notes, however, this incident is tightlipped and we cannot confirm that report.
Some sources say the depressed situation on the island is pushing young people to the edge, who cannot withstand the many changes in the economy.
This is not the first time suicide missions have been carried out at the abandoned hotel, which is around 18 floors high and registered as the tallest building in Grand Bahama.
Back in 2010 another young man fell to his death at the property after months of unemployment and troubles. The story wound up being the young man was depressed, out of work, had just been evicted and had no money to buy food for him or his mother and he was just ready to end it all. But that was a concoction of the then Christie opposition media assassins.
Members of the Opposition PLP at the time accused the FNM of delivering Grand Bahama to its knees and suggested that this growing suicide crisis on the island was a direct result of the failed policies of Hubert Ingraham.
The commentary was true and the situation on the ground in Grand Bahama is real.
Following this tragic incident yesterday morning we wonder who will be blamed for these recent horrific events now unfolding under the Christie Regime.
