We are told the younger Wells had just came from work and was passing the area when the gunshots went off and he was hit with random bullets. The man targeted was also hit – he died at the scene; while Wells was rushed to hospital…He is now in intensive care fighting for life…
Latest incident was over a table game on a track road..
Nassau, Bahamas — Bahamas Press is right now live at the scene of another homicide on Fowler Street. We can confirm it is a male. Age and name not yet identified.
This incident just occurred around 2:35pm.
The male was through a track road when he was shot multiple times about the body.
But here are the details. A table game went bad in the inner city community of Fowler Street and we know the victim was a participant.
BP teams on the ground confirm, as the game progressed, one man felt cheated and he left the table and returned with his loaded weapon – opened fire on the victim, hitting him multiple times as well as another male who stood in the background.
That male, we can tell you, was taken to hospital via private vehicle and left there, abandoned by those who assisted him.
According to our ground team, that second victim is now in the emergency theater where doctors are attempting to save his life.
There are no other leads in this case other than one is dead and another is fighting for his life at PMH in the theater. The shooter is at large and no one is wanting to assist police in their investigation.
You must wonder – why would a community watching a game not tell and assist police in finding out who the shooter was? UNBELIEVABLE!
We must also question and wonder why is the CC TV system still not connected. By now the criminal would have been tracked via CCTV – but the organized criminals refuse to have it turned on – WHY?
This latest incident records the country’s 82nd homicide and the second in 24 hours.
